Floating windows
Typing without losing focus
The floating window takes your text and hands focus straight back to the app underneath.
A note window differs from an ordinary one right here. Click into it and type, and the text lands in the note. Click back into your document and the cursor is where you left it. The app underneath does not lose its selection just because a note sits next to it.
What that means day to day
- Take notes during a call while the customer record stays open in the browser.
- Tick off a checklist without switching away from the app you are in.
- Jot down a figure from a spreadsheet and keep working in the same cell.
