How iCloud sync works

Through your own private iCloud, with no account and no server at our end.

NoteBay stores its data in the private database of your iCloud account. We see none of it; there is no NoteBay server in the middle.

Local first

The whole library lives on the device. Capturing, editing and searching work without a connection. Sync catches up as soon as there is one.

One record per block

NoteBay does not sync a note as one lump but each block on its own. If two devices edit different paragraphs of the same note, there is no conflict. On the same paragraph, the later edit wins.
