What NoteBay is

A notes app with a real library, where any note can become a small window that stays above the work you are doing.

Sticky-note apps keep a note above your work but stop at a text field: no folders, no search, often only on one platform. Full notes apps do all of that, but turn a note into a screen you visit rather than a window that stays put.

NoteBay sits in between. Nested folders, full text search, blocks, tables, images and colours, and any of those notes can become a floating window.

What is included

• Floating windows on the Mac, with adjustable opacity.
• A block editor with headings, lists, checklists, quotes, code, dividers, images and tables.
• A library with folders nested as deep as you like, favourites, full text search, archive and trash.
• Sync through your own iCloud, with no account at our end.
• AI access over MCP, unlocked per folder and blocked by default.

What is not

No subscription and no ads. No web, Windows or Android version. No handwriting, no reminders, no dated tasks. An iPad version and sharing single notes are planned for later.
